Brendan Cavalier |
A
graduate from San Diego State University. While at SDSU Brendan
studied Theatre and Electrical Engineering, and is currently working as
an engineer in San Diego while he continues to pursue his true passion:
Theatre. While at SDSU Brendan’s theatre training included
Shakespeare, Improvisational Acting, and Stage Combat. Brendan also
directed for the student theatre organizations and worked closely with
both Skull and Dagger and Teatro Alto. After
Brendan’s graduation in May of 2006 he attended the British-American
Dramatic Academy’s (BADA) Mid-Summer in Oxford Program which focuses
primarily on acting for Shakespeare. Brendan brings a unique mix of
technical knowledge and skills, including computer automation, power
systems, lighting, microelectronics, carpentry and machining in
addition to his theatre expertise.
Some of his favorite roles include Father Welsh in Martin McDonagh’s The Lonesome West, Tom in Neil LaBute’s Fat Pig, Gene in Warren Leight’s Side Man and Ken in Neil Simon’s Rumors and Ferdinand in Shakespeare’s Love’s Labor’s Lost. |
